Do you know that there is a difference between an herb and a spice? An herb is from the green part of the plant, and this includes things like basil, tarragon, thyme, or parsley. A spice is the dried root, stalk, seed, fruit, or bark, and include things such as pepper, coriander, cinnamon, etc.
